Regents Terrace & Hedley Chase, Leeds – For St. Georges Crypt

We continue our strong relationship with Vistry Partnerships by securing the electrical and mechanical installation works at both Regents Terrace and Hedley Chase.

St. Georges Crypt are a charity in the City of Leeds, working with the homeless, the vulnerable and those suffering from addiction.

Regents House is a home for alcohol dependent gentlemen. The 24/7 staff support the residents and allows for a tailored support plan to enable the residents to move to appropriate tenancies and become self-sufficient. Regent House works in close partnership with various agencies across Leeds to deliver the support required for this group of people.

The old home at Regent Terrace has been demolished and rebuilt into 14 self-contained flats. This positive experience of self-reliance in their own flat, coupled with the onsite member of staff to support and help in any way will make it easier for the residents to cope with life in their own tenancy once they are ready to move on.

Works commenced January 2019 and completed September 2019.

The project won Architects Brewster Bye and Vistry Partnerships the residential award in Yorkshire and Humber in the RICS Social Impact Awards.

After the success of Regents Terrace, we are now on site at Hedley Chase, this project consists of 24 No. 1 and 2 bedroom self-contained apartments and benefit from the provision of communal facilities, office, workshop and landscaped grounds will provide private outside space for residents to enjoy.

The site is part of the St. George’s Crypt initiative to provide good quality housing across the City of Leeds.

Works commence June 2020.

Our electrical and mechanical installation works for both Projects include – LV distribution, small power, internal, external and emergency lighting, fire alarm, CCTV, data wiring, door access control, lightning protection, photovoltaic installation, television, telephone wiring, hot & cold water services, new water supplies, ventilation, sanitaryware, thermal insulation, chlorination and above ground drainage, heat pump, radiators and showers.
