We are delighted to be celebrating our 25th Anniversary.
What an amazing 25 years it’s been, Steve and I started the business after the demise of Hall Electrical Ltd, and with our knowledge, commitment and determination created something special in Tricon Services Ltd.
Our Tricon journey started trading on the 20th June 1994 and we’ve never looked back, as the years have passed our little family of staff has grown and remained and are mostly all long servers, most with more than 15 years service, so we’d like to thank each and everyone one of you for been with ‘Team Tricon’
We’ve thrived, flourished and survived over the years despite the wider economic picture, so thank you also to our loyal customers and client’s, our key been always doing the extra mile for success and happiness.
We are as proud as punch to be celebrating, and here’s to another 25!

We are delighted to have been awarded the mechanical and electrical installation works working alongside Esh Build.
The new scheme will initially provide 60 extra care apartments in Grimsby as part of a wider partnership to deliver 300 extra care apartments.
The development is being delivered by Morgan Ashley, NHS North East Lincolnshire CCG and Living+, part of the Places for People Group. The scheme will provide much needed accommodation to address the needs of elderly people in Grimsby.
Extra care housing supports elderly people to live safely and independently with easy access to social activities, in the knowledge that care is at hand when required.
Our mechanical and electrical works will include – external gas & MCW, main plant equipment, internal gas services, domestic hot & cold water services, heating systems, underfloor heating, heat interface units, heated air curtain, ventilation, air conditioning, automatic controls, sanitaryware & above ground drainage, AOV’s/smoke & natural vent, sprinkler system & dry risers, water treatment, thermal insulation, mains & sub-mains, lighting, small power, fire alarm, disabled refuge, TV/digital free-view & satellite, mechanical services wiring, Tunstall Basic, lightning protection & surge protection, earthing & bonding, AOV wiring, magnetic hold backs to communal doors, free swing door closers, security system – CCTV, electrical car charging point, induction loops, containment, telephone & data cabling, GURU metering, generator connections for mobile unit, , testing & commissioning.
Our work will commence summer 2019.
We are happy to have been awarded the mechanical and electrical installation works working alongside Strategic Team Group.
The works comprise the replacement of dilapidated buildings, and our works will include –
Electrical – removal of existing services, electric supply, MCCB Panel, earthing, surge protection, LV Distribution & Isolators, lighting, small power, containment, incoming telecom & data and fire & intruder alarm.
Mechanical – strip out works, comfort cooling, ventilation, LPHW heating, auto controls and thermal insulation.
Our work will start in May 2019.
We are delighted to have been awarded the electrical installation works working alongside Triton Construction Ltd.
The works comprise of a new build construction of a private residential and treatment centre with a 2 storey accommodation block and a single storey treatment and administration block.
Our electrical installation works include – external services – L&P, LV distribution & containment, power, earthing & bonding, heaters, lighting, fire alarm, intruder alarm, CCTV, access control, lightning protection, telephone / data, RF cabling, disabled alarm facilities, disabled refuge, background music & AV.
Our work will start in April to be completed by November 2019.
We are pleased to have been awarded the mechanical and electrical installation works at Doncaster Ambulance Station working alongside Geo Houlton & Sons Ltd for the Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust.
The Ambulance Station is having a complete refurbishment, the main hub works will remodel the existing ambulance station to a new hub design comprising operational staff changing rooms and refreshment areas as well as management offices, training and meeting rooms.
The garage will be reconfigured to assist the easy flow of vehicles through vehicle preparation and fleet with one-way circulation. Separate vehicle preparation and fleet store rooms for stock, equipment and cleaning materials will be provided and external areas will be laid out to provide staff parking and separate bays for operational vehicles with shorelines.
Additional works are also required in the existing ambulance station to construct a new server room.
The Ambulance Service will remain operational throughout the entire period of the Contract.
Our works include – strip out, LV distribution, general low voltage power, earthing & bonding, surge protection, lighting including emergency and external, structured cabling system, MDT antenna wiring, air waves system modifications, disabled facilities, entertainment systems, access control, fire alarm, smoke damper wiring, containment, above ground drainage, domestic water services, ventilation services, comfort cooling services, LTHW heating services, natural gas services, BMS auto controls, bunded oil tanks & hose reel kits, sanitaryware, thermal insulation, water treatment, testing & commissioning
Our work will start in March to be completed by November 2019.
We are delighted to have successfully renewed our Chas Accreditation for another year.
We continue our strong relationship with Esh Build by securing the mechanical and electrical installation works for 45 new build affordable houses.
The 2, 3 and 4 bedroom homes will be a mix of shared ownership and rent-to-buy properties to help people get on the housing ladder. The houses will be built on vacant land owned by Leeds Federated.
Leeds Federated is a housing association with around 4,200 properties across Leeds, Wakefield and North Yorkshire.
These homes are part of Leeds Federated Shared Ownership Affordable Homes Programme 2016-21 which is partly funded by £1.5 million in grant funding from the Homes and Communities Agency. Leeds Federated is also working in partnership with Leeds City Council on the scheme.
We are pleased to have been awarded the electrical installations works at Carlton Primary Academy working directly for the Pioneer Academies Community Trust.
Our works include – strip out existing services, new suspended ceilings, containment systems, LV Distribution, earthing, small power, lighting including internal, external and emergency, data installation, fire alarm installation, fire barrier, access control, telecoms, intruder alarm, CCTV, visitor registration system and testing & commissioning.
Works starts in January and are to be completed by April 2019, the school will remain operational throughout, therefore the works are phased to accommodate the pupil’s activities with minimal disruption.
We continue our strong relationship with Strategic Team Group by securing the electrical and mechanical installation works at the new development at Regent Terrace.
St Georges Crypt are a charity in the City of Leeds, working with the homeless, the vulnerable and those suffering from addiction.
Regent House, is a home for alcohol dependent gentlemen. The 24/7 staff support the residents and allows for a tailored support plan to enable the residents to move to appropriate tenancies and become self-sufficient. Regent House works in close partnership with various agencies across Leeds to deliver the support required for this group of people.
The old home at Regent Terrace has been demolished and is to be rebuilt into 14 self-contained flats. This positive experience of self-reliance in their own flat, coupled with the onsite member of staff to support and help in any way will make it easier for the residents to cope with life in their own tenancy once they are ready to move on.
Our electrical and mechanical installation works start early next year and will include – LV distribution, small power, internal / external & emergency lighting, fire alarm, CCTV, data wiring, door access control, lightning protection, photovoltaic installation, television, telephone wiring, electric panel radiators & showers, hot & cold water services, ventilation, sanitaryware, thermal insulation, chlorination and above ground drainage.
We are extremely excited to have been appointed by Triton Construction Ltd on behalf of Outwood Grange Academies Trust.
The new school will be built within the grounds of the existing school, the existing school will remain fully operationally and children and staff will be attending as normal during the duration of the build, so minimum disruption will be paramount.
We look forward to starting our mechanical and electrical works in Spring next year.
