Sheffield Royal Hallamshire Hospital – D Floor Catering Facilities

We are pleased to announce the completion of Sheffield Royal Hallamshire Hospital. Project Value: £851K.  The scheme consisted of the supply, installation and commissioning of the Mechanical and Electrical Systems for the refurbishment of Level ‘D’ Catering Areas.  The works consisted of the isolation and strip out of the existing Electrical & Mechanical services, and replaced with new, to the revised facilities included food trolley handling areas, electrically operated kitchen, reduced food storage area, new extended food servery area, overhauled dining areas and new coffee outlet.

Electrical works included new mains sub-mains, distribution boards, LV power outlets, Equipment & Mechanical power, lighting and Emergency lighting, Fire Alarm adaptations, data additions and security adaptations.

Mechanical works included modifications to the existing supply and extract ventilation, new kitchen ventilation including new canopies, new hot and cold water services to all outlets, above & Below slab drainage, BMS Controls, installation of heating adaptations including a new PHE and canopy fire suppression systems.

We worked alongside the Contractor, Clugston Construction Ltd, and started work in November 2013 completing in July 2014, the client was Sheffield Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
