Scarborough Indoor Market
Grade II Listed Scarborough Indoor Market
The scheme to renovate Scarborough Market was made possible thanks to a £2.7M grant from the Coastal Communities Fund, administered by the Big Lottery Fund. There was an opportunity to take the Market Hall forward, there was a considerable amount of under utilised space within the building with the opportunity to install a mezzanine floor running along the two walls to house new enterprise and innovation units, clearing away of the current stalls from the main trading floor and replacing them with new, modern and visually attractive units.
Working alongside Esh Build, we completed a whole host of works including all the electrical and lighting, isolating and removing the existing services, switchgear and distribution, containment, heating system, fire alarms & landlords surge protection, intruder alarm, CCTV and floor ducting systems, domestic water and internal gas services, ventilation system, and ground soil & waste drainage.
Work commenced June 2016 / Work finished April 2017
