Leeds College of Music – The Venue

We are delighted to have been working alongside Esh Build on the refurbishment works at Leeds College of Music – The Venue. The works included alterations to the existing structure and extension at rooftop level to provide an enlarged bar and break-out space adjacent to the auditorium.

Leeds College of Music is a music conservatoire based in the Quarry Hill district of Leeds, it was founded in 1965 by Joseph Stones. LCoM is the only conservatoire in the UK to offer both higher and further education courses.   They provide music education to a community of over 1900 musicians through a variety of programmes, including undergraduate and postgraduate degree courses, numerous short courses and Junior LCoM for those aged 9-18.

Our mechanical and electrical works included:– LV distribution, containment, small power, lighting including emergency & external, fire alarm, CCTV, ventilation services, BMS, above ground drainage, sanitaryware/cleaners sink, low pressure hot water heating, hot & cold pipework and panel heaters.

We started work in July 2017 and completed October 2017.
