Kirkstall Road Transfer Station & Household Waste Sorting Site, Leeds

Posted on Thursday, February 9th, 2017

Working alongside Esh Build on the construction of a new Transfer Station & Household Waste Sorting Site.

The modern, purpose-built recycling area for residents of Leeds is to recycle a wide range of materials and dispose of household waste.

The recycling area also incorporates an on-site re-use shop, the shop is the second to be developed in Leeds and is run by Revive Leeds, a community interest group made up of two local charities, SLATE and SVP.

Any re-usable items such as furniture, working electrical items, clothing, bikes, toys, books, cds, bric-a-brac and other household items can be donated direct to the new Revive Leeds re-use shop, where donations can be sold at low prices and enjoyed by someone else.

Our electrical and mechanical work included – site mains LV distribution, external lighting, deaf aid loop installation, data, lightning protection, solar PV installation, vehicle movement management and fire alarm, air conditioning, ventilation, heating and plumbing and sanitary ware.

We started work in April 2016 and completed our works February 2017.
