What We Do
We have extensive experience of domestic, commercial and industrial projects across all spectrums of contracting projects including refurbishment, new build, design & build and sole discipline projects. We would very much be pleased for you to click on our case studies page to see for yourself some of the projects we have been involved with.
How We Do It
We act as both principle contractor and sub-contractor depending on the client / contractor contractual relationship and can approach your project with experience of either. We are currently involved with several partnership contracts and understand the concept sufficiently to deliver a high standard of installation within the required remit.
The organisational structure separates the very different disciplines of main projects, small works projects and day to day maintenance projects with each works stream individually managed to ensure sufficient focus is maintained to avoid priority driven daily workload synonymous with this industry.
Our intention is to make sure that no matter whether it’s a shower circuit to one property, a contract to refurbish 5000 properties or a new football stadium the project receives the same attention to detail, delivered on time and to your entire satisfaction. We have undertaken projects in terms of value from five pounds to five million!
We have an in house independent tender design, preparation and estimating department to be in a position to offer the desired service to our customers from the very first stages of a projects lifespan. Our pricing strategy of attempting to price and return all enquiries received regardless of order probability using the very latest technology and software is the first step in the process of delivering a high quality service to our current and future potential customers. We understand the frustration some customers estimating departments experience when a particular discipline is proving difficult to obtain a price for.
Our aim is help your estimators receive a competitive price for all your tender returns mechanical, electrical & renewable elements including fire alarms, emergency lighting, lightning protection, CCTV, access control, data installations and audio/visual installation, ventilation, H & C water services, heating, air conditioning BMS, heating & HW plant, photovoltaic, heat pumps, CHP.
We have the ability to receive tender documents electronically and have CAD capability and large format printers to be able to produce and print you’re digitally issued drawings. We actively encourage the use of these systems to speed up both the issue and production of a competitive price for your installation requirements.
All we ask in return is your serious consideration for us to carry out the project for you if you are successful.
We understand that many operatives find certain disciplines more enjoyable than others and as a result concentrate individuals towards their preferred work type. This results in a more focused and settled workforce within their chosen sector of the market delivering more interest into the companies resultant outputs.
We are very proud of all our work colleagues who are hard working and enthusiastic about what they do for a career and enjoy the success that they bring to the company they are proud to work for.
We have for many years continued with our strategy to train in house for our intended growth and resource requirements. Our annual intake of school leavers onto our apprenticeship scheme has resulted in a highly successful flow of qualified operatives into the resource base. All our operatives are trained fully in the skills that they utilise and hold relevant technical certificates such as CSCS for Health & Safety, Asbestos Awareness, IPAF and or PASMA, relevant technical skills in the chosen disciplines.
As an organisation we have achieved recognition for our commitment to setting standards that others eventually try to emulate. We were an early explorer into the merits of Quality Assurance, renewable energies and CHAS, recently we have achieved accreditation for our commitment to equality and diversity with the C2E standard and are one of this first in the Building Services Industry to do so. This shows our dedication to delivering the right environment for a changing population and cultural background and further cements our commitment to working with Public Sector clients especially.
We were very pleased to obtain quality status to BS5850 in 1997 as it showed our commitment towards ensuring we very much cared for the perception held for us in the industry. Since those early days we have continued to make the standard and achieved first the ISO9001 standard and recently the ISO9001:2008. We obtained the status with the quality body BM Trada (formerly the CQA) with whom we have continued to enjoy a solid relationship.
We wanted to achieve the standard not only to make a statement to our stakeholders of our intentions concerning delivery of a quality product but also to create efficiency within the administration functions of the organisation. By having a documented management system we are in a position to make it easier for all engineering staff to identify, using the well organised filing structure, information on any of the projects we are or have been involved with.
In order to deliver a desirable service to our customers we have to be in a position to bring together the two main elements, labour and materials. We consider the relationships with our suppliers as highly important in our ability to deliver on time the project to the customer and have over time worked hard to develop strong ties with some of the most respected and capable suppliers, manufacturers and specialist subcontractors who are pivotal in their roles to add value to our services for our clients benefit. Stringent selection processes and solid project management ensure only the best partners are engaged and maintained where company loyalty is given in return.
