Yorkshire Sculpture Park, Wakefield – New Visitors Centre

We are excited to be working alongside William Birch & Sons on Yorkshire Sculpture Park’s new £3.6 million visitor centre – to be known as The Weston as a result of significant support from family grant-maker, The Garfield Weston Foundation, and will open to the public on Saturday 30th March 2019.

The centre will enhance physical, intellectual and sensory access to the landscape, ecology and heritage of the historic estate, as well as to sculpture presented elsewhere in the Park. The new gallery will showcase a changing programme of temporary exhibitions, with an interactive project by the important Indian artists Thukral and Tagra inaugurating the space.

Our electrical and mechanical works included – LV distribution, lighting, emergency lighting, power, CCTV, security system, fire alarm, earthing & bonding, structured cabling, above ground drainage, hot & cold pipework, hot & cold plant, low temperature hot water pipework, plant and valves, underfloor heating, air conditioning, ventilation, BMS, internal rainwater pipes, thermal insulation and sanitaryware installation.

ASOS Car Park, Grimethorpe, Barnsley

We are pleased to have been awarded by Esh Build the external lighting and associated electrical works.

The works comprise of the design and construction of a new permanent car park facility on land opposite the main ASOS/XPO distribution facility.

Our works will include – new external lighting, and power will be required to service any access controls, CCTV installation and car charging points as required.

Work to commence June and to be completed by October 2018.

5 New Build Houses, Senior Road, Darnell, Sheffield

We continue our strong relationship with Strategic Team Group by securing the electrical installation works for 5 No. new houses.

The works involve the design and construction of 5 No. new residential dwellings together with associated drainage and external works, and will be constructed for South Yorkshire Housing Association.

South Yorkshire Housing Association have homes throughout North, South and West Yorkshire, and across both Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.

Over 4,000 homes are for rent and around 2,000 properties include extra support from their specialist staff.

Our works will start June to be completed by September 2018.

The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has today released its annual figures for work-related fatal injuries for 2017/18, as well as the number of people known to have died from the asbestos-related cancer, mesothelioma, in 2016.
