We are excited to be working alongside Strategic Team Group on the latest refurbishment works at Folk Hall. Our mechanical and electrical works will include:– survey of the existing services, strip out existing services, LV distribution, containment, small power, earthing & bonding, voice & data cabling, lighting, mechanical wiring, lift power supplies, fire alarm, disabled refuge alarm, access control, intruder alarm, induction loops, lightning protection, disabled WC alarm, LPHW heating systems, air conditioning, ventilation, hot & cold pipework, gas pipework, AGD systems, sanitaryware, testing and commissioning.

Folk Hall is an integral part of the community and will be used for various events and meetings. Numerous local clubs and groups will use it, including the New Earswick Musical Society. It also houses the local post office.

The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has today released its annual figures for work-related fatal injuries for 2017/18, as well as the number of people known to have died from the asbestos-related cancer, mesothelioma, in 2016.
