Tricon Secures Hospital Project

Tricon Services Ltd continue the strong relationship with Clugston Construction Ltd by securing the M&E work scope for total refurbishment of ‘D’ Floor at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital in Sheffield. Work involves the complete refurbishment of the restaurant, main hospital kitchens and staff dining area’s carried out in two phases to avoid disruption to the daily operations of the hospital. Project value is £750k and builds on the previous success of the Brearly OPD at the Northern General Hospital. Work commences in November 13 with completion expected in May 2014.

Tricon receives Equality & Diversity award

Tricon Services Limited has been awarded the Silver Level by the Equality Accreditation Services in recognition of their responsibilities to Equality Employment. This was recently presented to David Vautrey, on behalf of Tricon Services Limited, by East North East Homes Limited.

In a statement issued by Vivienne Duke, Chief Executive of Equality Accreditation Services she said that “David Vautrey is the EDI champion and attended the ENEHL workshop. They have invested in external support to develop their policies and the accreditation programme helped them update and enhance these. E&D is clearly considered as part of the strategic plan and the potential benefits have been analysed. The aim is now to harness the EDI program to maximise these benefits for staff and the business. A well-deserved Silver level award”

The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has today released its annual figures for work-related fatal injuries for 2017/18, as well as the number of people known to have died from the asbestos-related cancer, mesothelioma, in 2016.
